About

Understanding the world through touch

I’m a mechanical engineering MSE student at Johns Hopkins University, conducting research in the SciPhy Lab, where I work on tactile sensing and learning-based methods for contact-rich manipulation. Right now I’m building an evaluation system that compares tactile sensors across a range of dexterous tasks.

Before Hopkins I studied mechanical engineering at DTU in New Delhi. I began my research journey in robotics at IIT Delhi, as a research intern under Prof. S. K. Saha and Dr. Rajeev G. Chittawadigi. I was then selected as a READY intern at IHFC, where I did product development and research in control methods for underactuated systems. I’m currently aiming toward a PhD, and interested in leveraging my knowledge of Control Systems, Tactile Sensing and Robot Learning to create something meaningful.
